Celebrate Centralia This Saturday in Downtown Centralia
Music will fill the air of downtown Centralia as Celebrate Centralia returns this Saturday.
Centralia Community Development Director Gayla Harting says activities are centered along the 300 block of East Broadway which will be closed to traffic during the event.
Celebrate Centralia begins at four and run through ten Saturday night.
“This year we have a total of about 30 vendors coming in. I’m very excited that we have 8 local food vendors this year coming in so even a couple of our restaurants will be down there. Great entertainment with local band Lake Side that will be there from 4:30-6:30 then from 7-10 we will have David D and the Divine Divas from Soulard coming in to play the blues. Of course, they were here last year and a lot of people asked to have them back. The Carillon will have music playing throughout the day.”
Artwork and crafts from local artists will also be on display. Wine will be available for purchase by the glass or the bottle. Admission is free. More information is available at www.celebratecentralia.com.
