Centralia City Schools Approve Building Projects and Several Personnel Actions

The Centralia City Schools Board of Education approved several summer projects including new carpet in the Administration Building, finish the exterior lighting at the Junior High and Schiller, the interior lighting at Schiller and implementation of Frontline Education Employee Time and Attendance Software.

In other action, the Board approved the prevailing wage for Clinton and Marion Counties as well as approving a field trip for the Junior High PBIS to Salem Bowl and the bus drivers to Holiday World.  Superintendent Craig Clark was given authorization to prepare the tentative budget for 2019-20.

In personnel action, the board accepted the resignations of Sarah Payne a Special Education teacher at Jordan School.  Jenee Brown as Speech Pathologist and Morgan VanHoutin as Bus Monitor.  The Board hired Shelbvy Brandmeyer as 4th grade teacher, Ariel Snider as junior high vocal music teacher, April Snow as ESY teacher, Casey Beckman as ESY  Speech Pathologist, Annette Nattier as ESY Paraprofessional and Dale Clifton as Bus Driver.

Graduation was set for Tuesday, May 23rd at 6pm.  Walk in registration for Kindergarten and First Grade will be August 7th hand 9th with second through eighth grade August 8th.
