Police Beat for Friday, May 17th, 2019

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two occupants of a vehicle Thursday on alcohol-related charges.   The driver, 19-year-old Abraham Applegate of Lakeshore Drive in Centralia, was arrested for driving under the influence.  Passenger 18-year-old Reis Madrey of West Stacey in Richview was arrested for illegal consumption of liquor by a minor.

20-year-old Kemper Hotze of North Ohio in Salem was arrested on a petition to revoke his probation after he tested positive for drug use.   He was on probation in a possession of methamphetamine case.  No bond has yet been set.

31-year-old Evan Winkoff of Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for retail theft.

Two others posted bond on outstanding warrants and were released.  They are 27-year-old Steven Finley of Harrisburg who posted $500 bond on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and 35-year-old Adam Phillips of West Warmoth in Salem who posted $500 and was released on an outstanding traffic warrant.
