Police Beat for Wednesday, June 12th, 2019

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a 33-year-old Alma man on burglary and possession of stolen property charges.   Scott Miller of Public Street is being held in the county jail pending a first appearance in court.  No details have been released on the case.

35-year-old Michael Inocencio of East McMackin Street in Salem has been arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, theft, and an Effingham County failure to appear DUI warrant.  Centralia Police say Inocencio is accused of taking the gun from a home in Centralia on June 4th.  He was located at his home by Salem Police on Tuesday and turned over to Centralia Police for questioning.

29-year-old Christopher Wieda of West McCord in Centralia was arrested by Salem Police for alleged retail theft at Bandy’s Pharmacy in Salem on June 4th.

47-year-old Bradley Diehl of State Route 161 in Centralia was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for domestic battery.  The incident allegedly occurred at his home on Tuesday.

40-year-old Angel Meadows of U.S. 50 in Salem was arrested at the courthouse on Tuesday for violation of bail bond.  She allegedly tested positive for drug usages.

Two remained in custody Wednesday morning on outstanding failure to appear in court warrants in traffic cases.  45-year-old Charles Weathersby of Jacksonville, North Carolina and 32-year-old Samantha Mason of East 2nd in Centralia were both arrested by Centralia Police.

Illinois State Police arrested 48-year-old Francisco Trevino of Saginaw, Michigan for alleged driving under the influence of alcohol.  He posted $300 bond and was released.
