Police Beat for Thursday, July 11th, 2019

A 54-year-old Alma man has been arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for alleged domestic battery.  Sherrod Logue of Laughlin Drive is accused of striking his daughter.  He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

A 32-year-old Salem man has been arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant for criminal trespass to a residence.  Bond is set at $5,000.

22-year-old Darrion Combs of James Street in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police on a Marion County traffic warrant.  Bond is set at $2,500.

A 23-year-old Salem man has been arrested on an outstanding Wayne County failure to appear in court warrant for felony theft.  Salem Police discovered the warrant issued against John Phillips of Lynwood Drive when investigating a parking complaint.   He posted $500 bond and was released from the Marion County Jail.
