Police Beat for Friday, July 19th, 2019

A 40-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Illinois State Police on multiple charges. Mark McClain of Franklin Street is being held in the Marion County Jail for alleged aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, felony possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance and armed violence. No other details are yet available.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested two on burglary charges. 49-year-old Charles Cook and 47-year-old Howard Howell of North Broadway in Central City were taken into custody in connection with the theft of a boat from a building in the 63-hundred block of U.S. 51 in Patoka. The burglary
allegedly occurred on July 15th.

30-year-old Natasha Lane of Ruble Lane in Salem posted $150 bond and was released on a battery charge.

52-year-old Ricky Dobyns of North Jefferson in Kinmundy remains in the Marion County Jail Friday after being arrested by Odin Police for driving on a suspended license.

36-year-old Tina Lee of Marion Street in Centralia posted bond after being arrested on an outstanding St. Clair County traffic warrant.
