Jason Stanley William Marcum, 41, of Centralia passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Jason was truly well known as a man of faith and loved to share his journey with Jesus. He was extremely excited and proud to have been a part of God’s plan in helping to launch City Hope Church 8 years ago. Jason’s face was familiar to all that attended City Hope Church as he served many needs there, a few of those included security, helping with the church’s annual Thanksgiving dinner, leading small groups, and being a huge part of the church’s Serve Day. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved to cheer on his favorite players to victory. Jason’s passion for sports included wrestling and he was known to wrestle with his children on occasion. He had an enormous heart for animals of all kinds, especially pit bulls and of course his beloved miniature pincher, Bella held his heart. Jason was a true people person and had a gift of making everyone feel at ease. He was known to be opinionated but always carried out his opinions with kindness and respect. Jason was an involved band parent during his children’s time with the Centralia High School Marching Showcase and was always so proud of their hard work and success. He also was a huge supporter of, and one of the Centralia Orphan’s biggest fans. Jason’s family’s health and happiness was his number one desire. He was an amazing father and dearly loved his children. Jason felt that family get-togethers were of the utmost importance and wanted nothing more than to make fun, loving memories together.
