Franklin Park Runs Hard On Hot Day In Salem

Franklin Park hosted a meet yesterday.  The top 10 for the Varsity boys were led by Salem’s Branson Papas and Sean Thornton who went 1-2, Jaiden Bazille was 3rd from Centralia, Caiden Beer, Eli Baker and Caleb Purintun of Salem went 4-5-6, Logan Shoemaker of Centralia was 7th, Hunter Malan and Ethan Crouse 8-9 and then Selmaville’s Kaden James was 10th.

In the varsity girls race, Ivy Donoho of Salem won the race, Selmaville’s Kayla Felgenhauer was 2nd with Salem’s Aila Laird, Hannah Richardson, Avery Robinson, Finley Purcelli and Jordan Kessler taking spots 3 through 7 followed by the Selmaville trio rounding out the top 10 in Natalie Lee, Maci Thorsen and Lauren Burge.

The JV boys race was won by Robby Shober of Salem with teammates Avery and Payton Gullion 2nd and 3rd and Braden Harris 4th.  Centralia’s Dax Snow was 5th, Alijah Carroll of Selmaville was 6th, Alex Spencer of Salem 8th and then 3 Rockets were 7-8-9 in Bentley Bryan, Aiden Rostance and Whyatt Mccarty.

The JV girls race top 5 spots went to Bobcats with Addison Bullard followed by Gracie Dice, Ella Robinson, Allison Thurman and Brianna Redenbo, Laci Harrell of Selmaville and teammate Emily Guzman were 6-7, Caitlynne Bryan of Salem 8th, Chloe of Odin was th and Addison Lever of Salem 10th.
