The Bobcats beat Flora 12-7. Jairen Stroud earned the win. Josh Powless went 4-4 at the plate and had 2 of the teams 5 doubles. Jalen Inlow and Connor Tennyson had 2 hits each. Gavin Zimmermann added a hit along with Stroud, Noah Nix, Deytin Parker, Aden Bass and Cameron Wilkins.
The 7th grade Bobcats won 8-1. Colton Shelton and Rhett Detering doubled, Silas Moats and Wes Hunter added hits. Luke Young was the winning pitcher.
The softball team earned an 11-1 win in 5 innings. Bre Thurman was the winning pitcher allowing 1 hit and only 2 walks. At the plate, Thurman drove in a run, Emma Gregg had 2 hits and an RBI, Lily Blagoue added a hit, Maci Podergois tripled home a run, with Green and Keller adding RBI.
After wins yesterday, the Franklin Park baseball and softball teams will return to action today when they host Breese.

The SC Lady Falcons scored 8 runs in the opening inning as they cruised past Centralia 12-2. Hailey Shuller doubled and drove in a run, Taegan Webster added a triple with Ella Watwood driving home 2. SC got RBI also from Brook Cowger, Keria Swift, Katilyn Swift and Percy Reid. Webster was the winning pitcher allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run with 13 strikeouts.
In other junior high baseball today, Patoka/Odin plays at Willow Grove/St Mary, Selmaville hosts Rome at the Little League Complex.
