The South Central Lady Falcons routed their way into the IESA softball regional semifinals at Altamont with their 11-1 victory over Neoga.
SC started early and kept it going scoring 8 runs in the first 2 innings while Taegan Webster held Neoga to only 1 hit. At the plate, Webster doubled as part of her 2 hit day and scored 3 runs. Aby Shuller also had 2 hits and 3 runs scored. Hailey Shuller drove in a pair along with Brook Cowger. Keira Swift added an RBI.
Webster continued her historic year in the circle finishing with 11 more strikeouts and only 2 walks allowing no earned runs and just 1 hit.
For the season Webster has worked 95 innings she is 14-2 and allowed just 59 hits and 17 earned runs in the 16 games started. She has struck out a whopping 193 and only walked 25 averaging over 12 strikeouts per game with an ERA of 1.25
SC will play in the semifinals Saturday morning at 10:30 against St Anthony.
