Salem man pleads guilty to possession of meth charge  

A 33-year-old Salem man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to a charge of possession of under five grams of methamphetamine.

Wade Featherston of Oakwood Drive was placed on two years probation, given credit for 90 days served in the Marion County Jail and ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment with random testing.

As part of the plea, a companion charge of possession of a controlled substance and an unrelated charge of aggravated domestic battery were dropped.
