Two face new felony charges in Marion County Court

A 31-year-old Centralia man has been charged in Marion County Court with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.  Demarius Williams of East Kell was arrested by Centralia Police during a Thursday traffic stop.  He allegedly had just over a gram of cocaine in his possession.  Bond was set at $3,000, which Williams later posted and was released from the Marion County Jail.  A public defender was appointed to represent him.

18-year-old Hunter Hastings of Carterville has been charged with two counts of felony theft.  He’s accused in both counts of taking more than $500 in Dungeons and Dragons miniatures and books from a vehicle parked in Centralia on September 1st.  Bond for Hastings was set at $1,500 and the public defender appointed.
