Groundbreaking set for Castle Ridge development on grounds of old Meadow Woods Country Club in Centralia

Groundbreaking is set for next Wednesday, October 16th, for the new Castle Ridge Lakefront Restaurant, Wedding, and Conference Center.   The facility is being constructed on the grounds of the old Meadow Woods Country Club.  It is phase two of the multi-phase Meadow Woods Development.

The director of Meadow Woods Holding LLC Greg Sutton says they are excited to begin this phase. Castle Ridge will be able to seat up to 1,500 people inside and up to 15,000 people outside, it will have two grand ballrooms and nine breakout rooms for meetings and conferences. The site will have a variety of outdoor ceremony areas to choose from, all with different themes. Sutton says they have seen a lot of excitement about the restaurant as well, which will feature rooftop seating as part of the dining experience.

The first phase of the development, which is nearing completion, is the Gaetti Sports Academy, an 18,000 square foot premier sports development facility being built with Centralia native and former Major League Baseball Player, Gary Gaetti.  Those interested in more information may visit www.GSAPlayball.com.
