Brenner Webster Wins 1st Ever Marathon He Runs, Now Qualifies For Boston 2021

Salem grad Brenner Webster ran his first ever marathon, competing in the 2019 Missouri Cowbell Marathon.  Webster was 1st overall running in a time of 2:45:03.  He was 20 seconds faster than the 2nd place runner and almost 12 minutes faster than 3rd place.  In his training, Webster had never ran over 18 miles, so a very impressive feat becomes even more impressive.  Webster now qualifies as one of the thousands of runners that will run in the 2021 Boston Marathon.
