A 36-year-old Centralia man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on State Route 37 near Kell early Saturday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Jason Weisbrod of South Locust left the side of Route 37 400 feet north of Walnut Hill Road, hit a culvert, and flipped his car multiple times. The vehicle came to rest on its top, with Weisbrod still strapped into his seat until being cut out by the first emergency help on the scene.
Weisbrod was taken to Salem Township Hospital by United Medical Response for treatment. The Kell Fire Protection District was called to assist the sheriff’s department.
He was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage.
The crash occurred at 1:35 on Saturday morning.
