Police Beat for Monday, January 13th, 2020

A 22-year-old Salem man has been arrested for domestic battery.  Salem Police say Scott Adams of South College was arrested following an altercation at a home on North Dawley Street.

40-year-old Brian Hartnell of East 8th in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for failure to appear on a Marion County possession of methamphetamine charge.  Bond is set at $50,000.

24-year-old Andrew Sloat of North College Street in Salem was arrested on a Clinton County failure to appear warrant for retail theft following a pedestrian stop by Salem Police.  Bond on the warrant was set at $3,000 bond.  Sloat was later transferred to the Clinton County Jail.

51-year-old Phillip Thurman of Chicago was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies for driving on a suspended license.  He was released on $250 bond.

22-year-old Trevon Jones of Murphysboro posted a $250 bond after being arrested for being an unlicensed driver.
