Two Sentenced for Possession of Meth; Centralia Man Charged with Possession of Heroin

Two people have been sentenced in Marion County Court after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

38-year-old Michael Swickard of East Marvin in Central City pleaded guilty to possession of meth on both November 24th of last year and on February 3rd. He was placed on two years probation, 45 days in jail with credit for time served, and ordered to complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and recommended treatment. Swickard was also ordered to complete a job search. A third charge of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle was dropped as part of the plea.

33-year-old Anton Decibus of Hickory Street in Centralia was sentenced to three years probation, ordered to complete a drug evaluation and treatment, and complete 40 hours of public service work and complete a job search.

A 27-year-old Centralia man, Anthony Clark of South Sycamore, has been charged with unlawful possession of under 15 grams of heroin. He was given a notice to appear in court for March 26th.
