Tanner Ballard got the final 2 outs for the save. Josh Powless drove in a run on a single, Ballard singled and scored, Zimmermann had 2 hits including a double, scored a pair of runs and drove in 1, Carter Moore had a double, triple and 2 RBI with Zane Dodson scoring the winning run. For PNP, Coen West struck out 9 in 3 innings with Heydin Purcell adding 3 more in his 2 innings of work. West doubled and scored, Purcell hit a 2 run homer, Noah Jourdan had 2 hits and Keytin Parker singled and scored.

  • Nashville grad Jordan Steigman has signed her letter of intent to play softball at Kaskaskia College. The outfielder hit .444 for her Hornettes squad that won 23 games. She doubled 7 times, hit five homers and drove in 44 while earning All River To River Conference, All South, and All State honors.
