Rockets Win Class S Regional, Heading To State

The Selmaville Rockets won their Class S regional over Central City 54-51.  Conrad Mascareno finished with 19 points.  John Tran added 14, Brogan Gregg 13 and Mason Jones and Logan Bandy each chipped in 4.  Central City was led by Ian Justice with 18. The girls middle school basketball season ended with Class S and L state championship games on Saturday.  In Class L, Massac County beat Hamilton County 44-38 for the title.  Carterville took 3rd over West Belleville 47-28. Columbia 6th At State Bowling Championship
