Three arrested on felony drug charges    

Three people remain in the Marion County Jail Tuesday following arrests on outstanding drug charges and other offenses.

34-year-old Marcus Walker of Centralia was initially arrested by Centralia Police for forgery after allegedly trying to pass a $50 counterfeit bill and on an outstanding Clinton County warrant.  Charges of possession of under five grams of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance-heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia were added after Walker was allegedly found in possession of drugs.

A 40-year-old Centralia resident was taken into custody on multiple charges after being released from SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital where she was taken for treatment following a June 6th arrest.  Micki Cox of South Maple is being held for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting a peace officer and on outstanding Marion and Franklin County warrants.

42-year-old Christina Scott of North Front Street in Iuka was arrested by Iuka Police for possession of under five grams of meth and manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.
