Police Beat for Tuesday, October 8th, 2019

Salem Police have arrested 31-year-old Amanda Casner of South Lincoln in Salem on felony retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia charges. Police report Casner was taken into custody Monday night at the Walmart Store. The charge is a felony due to a past theft conviction.

Centralia Police arrested 47-year-old Nicole Carter of Dean Street in Centralia for misdemeanor theft, criminal trespass to property and violation of an order of protection. Police report the incident occurred earlier, but Carter was just located Monday and taken into custody.

A 23-year-old Centralia woman has turned herself in on an outstanding Jefferson County warrant. Shellena Mandrell of South Beech was also wanted by Sandoval Police in connection with an early September incident for alleged obstructing justice and possession of stolen property. Bond on the Jefferson County warrant is set at $25,000.

35-year-old Vikki Trimm of South George in Mt. Vernon turned herself in on an outstanding Marion County warrant for failure to appear on a possession of methamphetamine charge. Bond on the warrant is set at $5,000.

40-year-old Angel Meadows of South College in Salem was arrested at the probation office by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a probation violation. All five of those arrested remained in the Marion County Jail Tuesday morning.
