The Centralia Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of Balloon Fest, has donated $10,000 to the Centralia Foundation to be used for park improvement.

Balloon Fest celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2019 and contributes $10,000 annually to Foundation Park.

Centralia Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marcus Holland says Balloon Fest is fortunate to have such a scenic nature park as the location for this magnificent community event and the chamber is appreciative of the support of the Foundation Board.

The check presentation to Bill Sprehe of the Centralia Foundation Board was made at the chamber’s September board meeting.

Balloon Fest 2020 has been set for August 21st, 22nd, and 23rd.
