Police Beat for Saturday, October 19th, 2019

A 28-year-old Centralia woman remains in the Marion County on multiple charges following her Friday arrest by Centralia Police.  Donna Crabtree of North Locust in Centralia is being held for resisting/obstructing a police officer, disorderly conduct and possession of cannabis.

39-year-old Reda Allen of South Sycamore in Centralia was arrested at the Marion County Probation Department for a probation violation in a 2017 felony case.

38-year-old Justin Heern of Linden Street in Centralia was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a Marion County 2014 felony warrant.

37-year-old Jacklan Tate, who told sheriff’s deputies she was homeless, was arrested on a Marion County misdemeanor warrant.

Salem Police say they recovered a stolen car taken early Wednesday morning from the Huck’s Store in Salem.   The driver had gone into the store when the passenger drove off with the vehicle.   The car was found when its license plate number was run on Thursday for being parked in an area where it needed to be moved for the reroofing of the Salem Community Theatre.   No one was around the vehicle.  The passenger who reportedly took the car is still being sought for questioning.  the vehicle is owned by Steven and Rebecca Warner of Mt. Vernon.
