Salem 5th Grade Stays Unbeaten With Pair Of Wins Over TTown

The Salem 5th grade improved to 6-0 on the season with a pair of wins over Teutopolis.  Salem won the opener 24-16.  Avery Gullion had 7 points and Jaret Gibson added 6 in the win.  Landon Maxey finished with 5 and Kane Ubelhart added 4.

In the 2nd game, Salem came away with an 18-14 victory.  Salem trailed 10-8 at the half, but held TTown scoreless in the 3rd quarter and pulled away in the fourth.  Salem was led by Jaret Gibson with 8 points, Landon Maxey added 5, Payton Gullion 3 and Avery Gullion 2.  The Salem 5th grade is back in action today as the Black team tries to stay unbeaten with a game against Flora at 3pm and the Salem Red will play Flora’s B team at 4.  Both games will be at Franklin Park.

The Salem 6th grade fell 41-22 to Teutopolis in the final game of the night.  Eli LoGrasso had 5 points to go along with 3 assists and 2 rebounds, Angel Salgado finished with 4 points, Ryegan Warren had 3 with Noah Timm adding 2 along with Eli Baker and Hunter Malan.
