Centralia man sentenced to prison for three years for using another person’s debit card   

A 30-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced in Marion County Court to three years in prison for unlawful possession of another person’s debit card.

Marcus Hicks of East 3rd was arrested on the charge in August 2018.  Once he is out of prison, Hicks was ordered to serve one year on parole.

The sentence will be served concurrently with a four-year prison term handed down in Effingham County Court for possession of methamphetamine.
