Second suspect arrested in Friday shooting in Centralia  

Centralia Police have arrested a second person wanted in connection with a shooting in the 1700 block of West McCord on Friday afternoon.

18-year-old Trevin Hendricks of Centralia was arrested at a home in the 1600 block of South Hickory and taken into custody without incident.  He has been charged with three counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm and three counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.  Hendricks was processed and transported to the Clinton County Jail.

Centralia Police arrested the first person they were seeking on Monday.  19-year-old Dalton Garrison of Centralia was also taken to the Clinton County Jail.

A 29-year-old Centralia man and 30-year-old Peoria man were struck by the gunfire and drove themselves to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital before being transferred to a St. Louis Hospital.

Centralia Police say the men involved knew each other.
