Illinois taxpayers are getting more time to file their state taxes.
Just like the federal government, Governor JB Pritzker says Illinois is extending the deadline.
“Illinois will delay our tax filing deadline from April 15th to July 15th, aligning our tax day with the federal government’s and to giving our millions of taxpayers three additional months to file their returns. Refunds will continue to be distributed in a timely fashion.”
