Two Centralia man had bond set at $250,000 in Clinton County Court Thursday after being charged with five felony offenses following the shooting of two men last Friday.
Both 19-year-old Dalton Garrison and 18-year-old Trevin Hendricks were charged with three Class X charges of aggravated battery through the discharge of a firearm, and single counts of felony arson to property and obstructing justice.
Centralia Police say the two went to an apartment in the 1700 block of West McCord where a drug deal went bad and shots were fired that injured two of those inside. The two were ordered to have no contact with the shooting victims, Ricardo Little and Andre Johnson. They were also ordered to have no contact with Albert Hendricks who reportedly owned the vehicle that the two left the scene that was later found burned off Cedar Road southwest of Centralia in rural Washington County.
Both of the victims were initially treated at SSM Health in Centralia and then taken to a St. Louis hospital for treatment. Police say they were driven by a third person in the apartment to the hospital. The shooting victims have since been released from the hospital.
If released on bond, they were ordered to abstain from drugs and alcohol and allow random searches of their person, home and vehicles.
