A 57-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to two years in prison after his probation was revoked on a felony domestic battery conviction.
Robert Dabney Senior of Maple Street was originally placed on two years probation when pleading guilty to the original charge in June 2017. He admitted to a petition to revoke his probation last October a short time after it was filed. However, Dabney then failed to show up for the sentencing hearing.
A warrant with a bond set at $50,000 was issued for his arrest. Dabney was taken into custody on the warrant July 1st and had remained in custody up until the time he was sentenced on Thursday. In addition to the two-year prison term, Dabney will have to complete four years of parole when getting out of prison. He was also given credit for 36 days served in jail.
