Centralia Police arrest two for robbery, looking for third

Centralia Police have arrested two people and are looking for a third in connection with a robbery of a 21-year-old Centralia man on the Lincoln Liquors parking lot late Thursday night.

18-year-old Joshua Hanrahan and 18-year-old Darrion Walker of One Hope United were taken into custody a few blocks from the scene.  A 17-year-old juvenile is still being sought.

Bond for Hanrahan and Walker was set at $7,500 apiece during their first appearance in court Friday morning.

Centralia Police Administrative Sergeant Steve Whritenour says the victim told police the group originally asked him to help steal a car.  When he refused, they allegedly knocked him to the ground and robbed him of his shoes and cell phone.  The victim was treated by EMS on the scene for bleeding around his left eye.

There was no report of any weapon being displayed.

The incident occurred at 10:55 Thursday night.

Both Hanrahan and Walker had public defenders appointed to represent them.  Preliminary hearings were set for August 4th.
