Salem Police arrested a 36-year-old Salem man after receiving a report that he handed drugs to a man driving through the Salem Mobile Home Park.
Police say Adam Phillips of Watson Road apparently thought the occupants of the vehicle were there to complete a drug buy. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and on a Marion County warrant in a possession of methamphetamine case.
The driver of the car notified Salem Police after the incident and Phillips was located a short time later at the mobile home park.
Phillips was given a notice to appear in court on the possession of controlled substance charge and is being held in the Marion County Jail on the warrant which has a bond of $15,000.
