Centralia man arrested on drug charges after passenger stops breathing

A 28-year-old Centralia man was arrested on Friday night on drug charges after an ambulance was called to assist a passenger in his car who was not breathing at the Circle K on East McCord.

Centralia Police say Brandon Rogozinski of South Poplar allegedly had cannabis and money in his hand when he exited the vehicle.  They later reported finding a needle in the driver’s side door and another on the floor.   A baseball bat wrapped in tape was also located in the car, which led to a weapons charge.

Rogozinski was taken to the Marion County Jail for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic instrument, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal possession of a weapon by a felon.
