Bobcats Are Top Seed In Regionals This Week

The post season is upon us in middle school baseball.  The Franklin Park Bobcats enter regional action as the top seed at 11-0 getting the honors on a coin flip over Carmi who finished the year 9-0.  Salem opens up with Fairfield on Tuesday at 4:30.  Flora will play Carmi at the same time.  If Salem wins, they would host the title game on Thursday.

In Region 7, Centralia opens up with Breese while Wesclin plays Carlyle.

In Class M, Central City will host and get a first round bye.  They will play the winner of Okawville and Aviston.

In Region 7, Sandoval will open with Patoka on Tuesday while Rome and Field play in the other semifinal.

In Class S, Selmaville is the top seed and will open Monday with Iuka while Altamont Lutheran takes on Clay City.  In Region 7, Raccoon opens up with Thompsonville and the winner would head to the semifinals against either Opdyke-Belle Rive or Spring Garden.
