James Ervin Hampsten, age 34, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020, in Mansfield, Texas.
A Celebration of Life service was held in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 26, 2020. A second service will be held at Oil Belt Christian Service Camp in Flora, Illinois, at 1 p.m. on October 24, 2020. Everyone is encouraged to wear St. Louis Cardinal or Blue’s attire. CDC guidelines will be followed.
He was born May 30, 1986, in Flora, Illinois, the son of Dennis and Sarah Sue (Mulvany) Hampsten. He married Lindsey Richards on July 8, 2017, and she survives.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a sister: Sarah Denise (Henry) Helm; mother-in-law: Vivian Boatwright; brother-in-law: Brandon (Michelle) Harmon; 2 nieces: Addison and Emerson Harmon; and a nephew: Grayson Harmon.
