A 45-year-old Centralia man is in custody after a search warrant was executed on his home at 531 North Locust early Tuesday morning.

Quenton Bradley was taken into custody at the time of the bust.  Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson says the search warrant was sought after Bradley completing several controlled buys conducted by the Centralia Police Department’s Investigations Division.  Bradley was allegedly in possession of weapons during the time of the controlled buys.

Bradley was taken into custody for alleged possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and transported to the Marion County Jail.  He was also on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections.   Dodson says the arrest report has been forwarded to the Illinois Department of Corrections in order to get his parole revoked.

The Centralia Police Department High-Risk Team along with the Region 9 ILEAS Weapons of Mass Destruction Team initially took Bradley and three others into custody.  The other three were released without being charged.
