Today is the high school cross country regionals held around the state. Salem will compete in the Highland 2a regionals along with area teams Centralia and Mt Vernon. The top teams and individuals advance to next weekend’s sectional meet at Olney Central College.
In Class 1a today running at Freeburg will be Breese Central, Mater Dei and Christ Our Rock with the qualifiers moving on to the Althoff Sectional. Nashville runs at Hamilton County with Altamont running at Carlinville. Flora and North Clay are at Chrisman.
