Salem’s Ivy Donoho heads into tomorrow’s 2a cross country sectional hosted by Olney Central College. Also area teams running will be Carbondale, Charleston and Highland. On the boys side, Centralia’s Cory Fleeman will compete along with Mt Vernon’s Trey Mygatt and Kevin Perkins. Area teams competing for the boys will be Carbondale, Marion, Highland and Olney.
In 1a girls at Althoff, Breese Central is competing as a team that will include Regan Albers, Haley Castillo, Elizabeth Detmer, Kristen Ess, Haley Huelsmann, Lucia Knapp, Elizabeth Schroeder and Emma Wesselmann. Competing for Mater Dei will be Trina Brokering, Alexis Kampwerth, Julia Korte, Morgan Oertel, Avery Rahden, Sophia Sabo, Mailee Toennies and Coryn Toennies. Sarah McKowen of Christ Our Rock will run. Also competing in the girls team will be Althoff, Freeburg and Nashville among others.
On the boys side running will be Central’s Will Detmer, Ryan Gerdes, Joe Goring, Jonathan Holthaus, Tommy Marron, Nolan Ritzheimer, Evan Schlueter, Jack Shelton and John Venhaus. For Christ Our Rock it is Nickoly Bierbaum, Sam Britt, Landon Langenhorst, Zach McKowen, Nick Sundberg and Ryan Wuebbels. Also running as a team are Freeburg, Nashville and Wesclin.
