A fifth candidate has filed for the two open Centralia City Council seats in the April election.

Bradley Kent Jones filed his petitions at city hall on Thursday. He joins Jeffrey Castellari, Jason Hunter, Robert “Rob” Jackson, and Israel Fontanez Junior on the ballot. The two incumbents Howard Jones and Andre Marshall have told WJBD-WSIQ News they will not seek re-election.

There were no new filings in Salem on Thursday.

Candidate filings for Mayor and City Council in both cities continue through five Monday evening. With both city hall lobbies closed due to COVID-19, you are asked to call ahead when wanting to file your petitions.
