Marie E. (Korzenewski) Tuel passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Cumberland Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Greenup, IL.

Due to the new COVID Restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Red Cross and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Tuel Family. Born June 27, 1925, in Junction City, IL to the late Joseph and Anna Puleikis Korzenewski, she was a life-long member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in Sandoval where she served on the Altar Society. She was a lifetime member of the Women of The Moose and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW. During her lifetime, she donated over 18 gallons of blood to the Red Cross. Marie worked as head cashier at P. N. Hirsch in Centralia until they closed.

Preceded in death by her husband Clarence Tuel; two sons, Gary and Stanley; her parents; brothers Joe, Tony, John and Frank: and her sister Ann Piasse, she is survived by one brother Alex of Abilene, TX; several nephews; and two nieces.
