Salem High School goes on full remote learning until December 4th

Salem Community High School Superintendent Dr. Brad Detering says the school will go on full remote learning until Friday, December 4th.

Detering says the district implemented full remote learning on Friday because of a positive test in a staff member that had contact with a lot of other staff members.  All those with close contact were placed on quarantine.   At the time, he said a decision would be made later on if a further extension of remote learning would be required.  That word came late Saturday afternoon.

It was the first time this school year the district had to divert from its hybrid plan that had students in class two days a week and remote learning the other three.
