The Centralia Grade School Board was told Tuesday night the parents of 84 students on full remote learning would be returning to in-person learning for the third quarter.

Superintendent Craig Clark says another 227 students will remain on remote learning. He credited a joint effort by many faculty and staff to account for all but 45 of the remote students.

The board hired four employees. Stephanie Heinrich was hired as an individual paraprofessional at Schiller, Don Smith and Jodi Smith as a bus driver, and Jameson LaBelle as a bus monitor.
