Police Beat for Saturday, January 16th, 2021

A 23-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for possession of ammunition by a felon and possession of ammunition without a FOID card.  Dangelo Fleener of East Rasback Street was initially detained following a traffic stop on an outstanding Clinton County failure to appear traffic warrant.  The ammunition was later allegedly found in his backpack.

50-year-old Edward Paschal of Orland Park was arrested by Centralia Police for driving on a revoked license and aggravated eluding police.  He allegedly failed to initially stop for police following a traffic stop at 3rd and Elm.

44-year-old Jesse Wallace of Frazier Street in Centralia was taken to the Marion County Jail after being arrested for violation of bail bond.  He allegedly went to a home in the 100 block of South Hickory where he was prohibited by a bond condition.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a garage at the Pentecostal Church on East Main Street in Salem.

The sheriff’s department is investigating criminal damage to property at the Hoots Chapel Christian Church on Hoots Chapel Road.  A door window was broken out by rocks apparently thrown by a vehicle doing donuts.
