Police Beat for Sunday, January 17th, 2021

A 19-year-old Irvington man is in custody at the Marion County Jail on multiple charges after leading Centralia Police on a chase that ended out of town early Sunday morning.   Isaak Clark of East Superior was arrested for aggravated fleeing and eluding, driving under the influence, reckless driving, resisting or obstructing arrest and possession of cannabis.

Salem Police arrested 26-year-old Cody Youngblood of New Boston, Texas for violation of an order of protection.  Police say they were called to a home at Starlight Mobile Home Park to an altercation.   Youngblood had left the home by the time they arrived but was located a short distance away.   He reportedly had been in the mobile home with a person who had an order of protection against him.

Centralia Police arrested 30-year-old Timothy Hall of Covington, Tennessee for theft and obstructing identification.   He was also taken to the Marion County Jail.  No additional information was immediately available about his arrest.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a garage in the 2900 block of Berry Road in Patoka.   The homeowner reported an attempt was also made to break into his car.   The incident was reported at 8:29 Saturday morning.
