Patoka School students in 6th through12th grade have gone on full remote learning for at least the rest of this week.
Patoka School Superintendent David Rademacher says one junior high student and one senior high student tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday. Both were in school Thursday and Friday of last week putting them into contact with numerous other students. Another high school student is expected to test positive on Tuesday.
Adding to the situation, Rademacher says the district has some non-teaching staff members who have tested positive.
Depending on how the situation develops, Rademacher says the full remote learning for the Patoka Junior and Senior High could be extended.
