The KC Blue Angels game that was scheduled for tonight at Missouri Baptist has been canceled. They will be back in action Saturday afternoon at home when they host St Louis Community College on WJBD.
The Angels are coming off a win in their home opener Saturday afternoon in a game you heard on WJBD as they beat Danville Area College 82-73. The game was tied at 70 with fewer than 3 minutes to go, but KC went on a 12-3 run to finish the game. Malea Lovelace led KC with 20; Janiah Newell added 19 and Peytin Wilderman scored 16 of her 18 in the 2nd half. Reyna Bullock hit a huge three pointer late to provide the dagger for Coach Jay Jenkins squad who is 1-1.
The 2-0 Blue Devils will return to action tomorrow night when they host Missouri Baptist at 7pm.
