Gregory Arlan Bollhorst, 56, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 in his home. Gregory was a Jack of trades. He had a number of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He was an electronic hobbyist and really liked to use his CB Radio. He was very patriotic and enjoyed collecting all things eagles. He will be missed dearly by his friends, family, and four legged companions.
Per Gregory’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Bollhorst Family. Gregory is survived by his mother: Shirley Bollhorst; six siblings: Cindy Cash and husband Steve of Junction City, Donna Kirgan and husband Fred of Salem, Rebecca White and fiancé Herb Dekalb of Centralia, Crystal Bollhorst and fiancé Jerry Whited of Centralia, DeWayne Bollhorst and fiancé Shandi Graham of Centralia, and Josh Cook of Centralia; two claimed stepchildren: Charles Murphey of Central City and Tanya Murphey of Centralia; several nieces and nephews; many lifelong friends; and two very special pets: Baby and Skylar.
Gregory was born July 15, 1964 in Centralia, the son of Donald L. Bollhorst and Shirley (Wilkins) Bollhorst. Gregory was preceded in death by his father: Donald L. Bollhorst and brother-in-law: Raymond “JR” White.
