The South Central School Board has set the date for eighth-grade promotion and high school graduation.
Superintendent Kerry Herdes says both will be held on Friday, May 21st. Eighth-grade promotion will begin at six pm and high school graduation will follow at seven pm. Herdes says they would like to have an inside graduation, but COVID-19 restrictions may force it to be outside again this year much like it was held last year.
The last day of class for students will be May 27th.
Herdes says if they have to use any more emergency days they will do them as e-learning days so they do not have to change the end of school plans and to get classes completed before Memorial Day weekend.
