Two Centralia men are headed to prison after entering guilty pleas in Marion County Court.

28-year-old Charles Felton of South Walnut received a two-year prison term for felony retail theft.   Felton admitted to taking items valued at less than $300 from the Salem Walmart Store in October 2019.   The charge was a felony because of a past theft conviction.  After getting out of prison, Felton will have to complete one year of parole and given credit for 59 days served in jail.

30-year-old Richard Woods III of South Walnut in Centralia was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to felony domestic battery.   Woods admitted biting a woman on the hand and striking her in the face.   The charge was a felony due to a past domestic battery conviction.   Woods was ordered to complete four years of parole when getting out of prison.  He was given credit for 119 days served in the Marion County Jail.  A second pending count of felony domestic battery was dropped as part of the charge.
