Kaskaskia College’s home game against John A. Logan College provided an unfortunate loss for KC. The men’s team scored 29 points to John A. Logan’s 35 points at halftime and finished the game with 74 points to John A. Logan’s 85 points.KC’s leading scorers were Jylen Perry with 20 points, Shomari Tillett with 189 points, and Payton Sheen with 18 points. John A. Logan College’s leading scorers were Sydney Curry with 19 points, Romon Douglas-Watkins with 19 points, and Xavier Ball with 17 points. Kaskaskia’s overall record is 6-5 with a region record of 3-4. Their next home game will be Monday, March 8th vs Wabash Valley College at 7:00 P.M.
The Blue Angels also had a home game against John A. Logan College, accepting a loss as well. The Angels scored 67 points to John A. Logan’s 72. KC’s leading scorers were Reyna Bullock with 17 points and Janiah Newell with 15 points and 6 rebounds. The Blue Angels currently hold an overall record of 2-9 and a conference record of 1-6. Their next game will be Monday, March 8th at Olney.
