Cindy L. Hails, 59, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 9:01 pm April 14, 2021 at her residence.
A Private Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Cindy’s honor to the Hails’ family, in care of Cody Hails. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. In addition to her father, Cindy is survived by her sons, Cody Dylan Hails of Mount Vernon and Derrick Zane Gentles-Griffith and husband, Jarrod of Woodlawn; siblings, Mark Ilbery and wife, Debbie, Gina Lewis and husband, Steve, Kim Dent and husband, Barry, Melody Bayer, Chasity Utlaut and husband, Shawn, all of Mount Vernon, and Lisa Ross and husband, Scott of Woodlawn; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born July 26, 1961 in Mount Vernon to Harry “Sonny” and the late Linda Faye (Huff) Ilbery. In addition to her mother, Cindy was preceded in death by her son, Harley Joe Hails.
